It has been a year like no other. To capture our journey through lockdown, we invited you to be part of a creative collaboration to collect images of our experiences in our first Bearsden Festival Photo Contest.

Over 100 images were received from 16-30 April. The entries were reviewed by a panel of local creative professionals. Judges considered technical merit, content and composition, imagination and style, selecting a shortlist for the public vote.

We put nine shortlisted entries to the public vote during Mental Health Awareness Week, announcing the winners on 16 May. Over 650 people voted, and competition was tight across all the categories!
